Karissa Rumsey, MA, ATR, has over 14 years of professional experience in Art Therapy and counseling, and has introduced and developed Art Therapy programs in several settings. She has worked with clients of all ages, challenged with mental and medical problems. She is the wife of a retired US Marine, and has lived in several states during her husband’s military career. She has also spent significant time educating others on the benefits of Art Therapy, and recently served as secretary of the Indiana Art Therapy Association. She is excited to begin working in Elwood, using art making and the creative process to foster growth and enhance health.
